Committee On Pharmaceuticals

The purpose of the Committee on Pharmaceuticals is to provide a forum for identification and review of issues affecting the availability and safe use of pharmaceuticals in animals. Disease prevention, treatment and control, assurance of food animal product safety for human consumption, and quality and productivity enhancement in food animals will be major areas of consideration for the committee. Through committee recommendations and resolutions, directions addressing critical issues will be forwarded to the association's officers for their action when appropriate.
